General Information

Drone flights in LKR1 to 4 are only possible with the permission of the National Park Authority, flights in LKR9 must follow the national rules NOOP LKR10-UAS.

Unless otherwise specified, UA operations in control zones (CTR and MCTR) may only be conducted below 100 m AGL and at a minimum horizontal distance of 5 500 m from the aerodrome reference point (ARP) of a controlled aerodrome and outside aerodrome protection zones. The operation of UA at a distance of less than 5,500 m from the ARP of a controlled aerodrome is only permitted after consultation with the responsible air traffic control unit and the aerodrome operator. Flights of UA with a maximum take-off mass (MTOM) of less than 0.91 kg may also be conducted in CTRs and MCTRs at a shorter distance from the aerodrome without coordination if they take place outside the protection zones of the aerodrome with an altitude restriction, but never above 100 m AGL. Until the planned publication of a map with accurate maximum operating altitudes, this requirement can be practically fulfilled by not exceeding the height of surrounding buildings, vegetation or obstacles.
