- Be sure to follow the requirements of the existing 56N GDCA regulation from 2007 (updated 2016).
- Make sure you are adequately insured.
- Check your drone before each flight; make sure your drone's electronic identification and geo-warning system (if installed) is up to date.
- Operate your drone within the performance limits specified in the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Before operating the unmanned aircraft, make sure that all its elements are working properly.
- Maintain visual contact with the unmanned aircraft at all times without using any aids (telescope, binoculars, electro-optical image intensifier). It is forbidden to operate unmanned aircraft at an altitude of more than 50 m above the ground or water surface without special authorization.
- Familiarize yourself with the area in which you intend to operate your drone and plan your flight.
- Check the weather conditions. Operating unmanned aerial vehicles in unfavorable weather conditions can be dangerous for both you and the people around you and can damage the device.
- Inform the civil aviation authority if your drone is involved in an accident in which a person is seriously or fatally injured or which involves a manned aircraft.
