UAV Forecast

UAV Forecast ist die bevorzugte App für Wetterdaten, besonders für Drohnenpiloten. Die App zeigt wichtige meteorologische Informationen, wie Temperatur, Windgeschwindigkeiten, Dämmerungszeiten und den Kp-Index, übersichtlich in Kacheln an. Farbmarkierungen weisen intuitiv auf mögliche Gefahren hin. Besonders hilfreich ist die Möglichkeit, Schwellenwerte an die individuellen Fähigkeiten der eigenen Drohne anzupassen.

Ein großer Vorteil ist die Anzeige des Windprofils in verschiedenen Höhen, da die Windgeschwindigkeit oft mit der Höhe zunimmt – eine Funktion, die klassische Wetter-Apps nicht bieten. So können Piloten die sichere Flughöhe ihrer Drohne besser einschätzen.

Während UAV Forecast auf die Bedürfnisse von Drohnenpiloten zugeschnitten ist, sind die angezeigten Flugverbotszonen unzuverlässig. Die meisten Funktionen sind kostenlos, für langfristige Prognosen oder detailliertere Informationen können Zusatzfunktionen für einen kleinen Betrag freigeschaltet werden.

Create waypoints

The drone manufacturers do not all offer a function to create waypoints in advance and let the drone automatically fly a route. Only with the Air3 came for the first time a waypoint function. A software that stabilize the image. The solution is already very good, but it leaves no possibility of fine adjustment. Here the software Gyroflow is used. The software offers very good results to stabilize the image. One should only note that one deactivates the in-house software. This is the only way to generate the necessary image information (gyro data) for Gyroflow.
